FAMILY, mother; dewfur
APPEARANCE
Click
Born a soft grey faint tabby, Cloudpaw was named for her wispy silver-grey fur, as well as her resemblance to her father, Frozencloud. As she aged, her coat grew lighter, the tabby marks fainter, and she now seems like just a silver wisp in the midst of a cloud. Her eyes, a dark blue at birth, followed the pattern of her coat, lightening into a chilling, icy blue. Much like her name suggests, Cloudfall is a small, wispy thing, her slender body supported by small legs tipped with compact white paws. Her small paws tend to carry her body in a light, airy gait, which, when combined with her small, wispy appearance, makes it seem as though she could float off the ground at any given moment. Her tail is not short, but not long, just long enough to wrap around her paws. As she grew, her body grew proportionately, leaving her slender and lean. Her fur, however, retained its kit-like wispiness, with her short coat interspersed with longer hairs, giving her her trademark wisp-like appearance.

PERSONALITY
Cloudfall is quiet and thoughtful, more apt to daydream and think when she isn't busy learning, teaching, and helping her Clan. She's calm and peaceable, much preferring to talk through situations rather than resort to violence. Being an only kit, Cloudfall was immensely smothered, and as such, she's innocent and naive, easy to trust and easy to forgive. Growing up sheltered, Cloudfall doesn't know much fear, but being restricted has bred a wanderlust within her, and her curious nature, combined with naive boldness, make her a bit more likely to walk off to explore. Though, she'd never lift a claw against another, and won't hesitate to help a cat in need, regardless of allegiance.

HISTORY
Cloudfall was born in a litter of three to Dewfur. Unfortunately, Cloudfall's two littermates were stillborn, leaving little Cloudfall, the would-be runt, alone. The father of the litter, Frozencloud, had died shortly after Dewfur announced her pregnancy in a vicious border battle. Dewfur named her only live kit after her fallen mate, seeing a striking resemblance to the she-kit's father. Dewfur smothered her daughter with love and affection, wanting only the best for her. Cloudfall had just been named an apprentice when Spottedleaf died. For the next two moons, Cloudfall continued to train as a warrior, though her soft nature didn't make it easy for her. One night, she dreamed of an older her, moving through a ravaged ThunderClan camp, treating wounded warriors and apprentices. Not knowing whether it was a dream sent from StarClan or just a dream, she kept it silent, but when she woke the next morning, Cloudfall went to the leaders's den, requesting that she be trained as a Medicine Cat Apprentice. Knowing of the alliance between WindClan and ThunderClan, she suggested training under their Medicine Cat. Now, with her training finished, she's received her medicine cat name, though she is young and her training has yet to be put to the test.

The silver-shaded she-cat rolled over in her nest, readjusting herself as dreams washed over her. First, there were the normal dreams, stalking through ThunderClan's forest in search prey. Then, they took an unexpected turn.
Paws light. Body low. Creep forward slowly... wait for it... Pounce! The silvery apprentice landed square on the mouse, killing it with a swift bite to the neck. She gave thanks to StarClan, then turned to head back to camp. Before she got there, fog descended over her. Cloudpaw looked up to the skies, confused. She stopped walking, dropping her mouse. The fog swirled around her, drawing closer to her. Ice blue eyes searched the fog frantically, looking for anything, even as her vision became more cloudy.
From the fog, sound began to reach her ears. Cries, screams of pain. Yowls of hurt and agony, hisses and battle cries. The fog began to dissipate, and Cloudpaw found herself in the heart of ThunderClan's camp. The camp was ravaged, bushes and barriers torn and scattered. Cats lay scattered around her paws, crying and dying before her eyes.
"Cloudfall! Cloudfall! Help us!" The silver cat looked around, searching for the source of the cry. It was a cat she didn't recognize, but as the words sank in, a strange knowledge came over her. Suddenly, she became aware that she was no longer a small apprentice, but a slightly bigger, older version of herself. Without guidance from her mind, her paws carried her across the camp to the medicine cat's den. She quickly darted inside and grabbed a mouthful of herbs, somehow knowing exactly which ones to grab. She raced back into camp, moving from cat to cat, assessing and treating the most serious of wounds.
The fog began to rise around her vision again, and Cloudpaw yelled out. "No! I'm not finished yet!" The fog continued to ebb and flow around her, drawing ever closer, obscuring her entire vision. Cloudpaw whimpered, confused, as the fog continued to thicken.
A paw prodded her in the side, and Cloudpaw squirmed. "Cloudpaw! Wake up! Geez, you'll wake half the camp!" Blue eyes opened, finding herself back in the safety of the apprentice's den. One of the other apprentices stood over her, glaring at her angrily.
"Sorry." Cloudpaw stood up, fur standing on end. A quick look at the den entrance told her the sun had not yet risen, but there was no way she was going to be able to sleep after the dream she'd just had. As the other apprentices returned to their slumber, Cloudpaw crept out of the den. She found a small niche along the thorn barrier and curled up in the shadows. She stayed there until sunrise, pondering what the dream had meant, and if it was from StarClan or just a dream. When the sun rose, so did she, knowing what she had to do. Taking a deep breath, she padded over to Bluestar's den. "Now or never."
