[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign,top] 8 MOONS TOM THUNDERCLAN APPRENTICE | [atrb=style, width: 296px; padding: 5px; background-color: e3e3e3; border-top: 4px solid #000000;] GENERAL INFORMATION NAME, BRIEF DESCRIPTION, Unusually large chocolate tabby with bark hued stripes and amber eyes. FAMILY, MOTHER - Goldenflower FATHER - Tigerstar SISTER(s)- Tawnypaw HALF BROTHER(s) - Swiftpaw | (found out later I'm assuming) Hawkpaw, Tadpaw HALF SISTER(s) - Mothpaw (found out later) APPEARANCE (one-liner;; A sturdy, brown tabby tom with piercing, aureate eyes Tall and stocky, this tom cat is one of the largest apprentices ThunderClan has to offer. The majority of his coat is chocolate, while a slender splash of dark drab slithers from down his his neck to the tip of his tail. The stripes of deep mocha cover his shoulder making them appear wider than they already are, but it isn't just an overly-measure illusion the man is built exactly like his father. Far more for fighting than for dodging yet don't think several fair placed blows could take him down still-forming (soon to be thick) muscles are clearly apparent beneath his skin. Black nose and white whiskers frame his muzzle. He has a yellow gaze so fierce and bright, it seems as if it could pierce your soul in the blink of an eye. PERSONALITY ME INSECURE? NO I'M JUST NERVOUS. Bramblepaw knew that he would have to follow in his father's footsteps without question. Everyone who admire the giant tom would automatically without doubt expect him to be just like his father or even better. Not being as certain as his father if he could live up to the greatness that his father made with each pawstep caused the kitten to flee towards his mother. Making him the passive tom he is currently. He never allowed anything to boil over the surface soon realizing that if he could just fake it for now eventually his father would help him learn to be like the great Tigerstar he is now. PUSH ME OVER AND I KEEP ROLLING Due to Bramblepaw being closer to his mother than his father the tom learned the soft side of traits rather than the rash and brutal ones he should to be his father's mini me. The tom became somewhat of a pushover towards his mother and his sister, allowing his sister to take the lead and doing whatever she requested. Seeing as how he adapted to his kin he soon applied that with many of the elder warriors just attempting to be a cat pleaser rather than follow the path everyone wanted him too. Being afraid his father might notice it he soon learned he had change up his ways if he wanted to please all; therefore he began to switch roles with different cats hoping that they wouldn't take notice, especially his father. I HAVE A LITTLE TIGER IN ME, BUT HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO The little Tigerstar did have some of his father in that body of his. He did have the same ambition as his father, the tom did want to be just like his father and better. He wanted to impress everyone and have as much power as they were willing to give him to his goal. Yet the path that it would take to get there made him wary of his own abilities. He wasn't certain if the path to his greatness would be as glorified as his fathers or if it would take as many dangerous twists, HISTORY I'VE ALWAYS HAD BIG PAWS TO FILL Once Goldenflower had brought two kits into the world there wasn't any question about the male, being identical to his father it struck pride into the deputy of the clan and fear into anyone that dared to rival his father's upcoming leadership. Not only did this pressure the oblivious kit but it made him find doubt within the paws he was place in. Bramblekit had always seemed to be his father favorite, he didn't know exactly why but he had a feeling it had something to do with his appearance rather than his character. This led Brambelkit to develop a bit of insecurities which explains he had more immediate clinging to his mother Goldenflower rather than to his father, Tigerclaw which his sister attempted to impress the moment she let air into those little lungs. Despite how much his sister wanted to be with her father, it was clear Tigerclaw was more neutral about the kits than anything. They shared his blood, but he didn't seem to care about them more than any other Clan kit. As Bramblekit aged on he noticed his sister taking more pride into herself attempting to shape herself into the blue she-cat named Bluestar. Bramblekit saw nothing wrong with the ambition to be leader but he felt it would rip their close relationship as kin. Fearing this Bramblkit held back allow his sister to take the lead on most thing that was until they became apprentices; finally allowing (with enough encouragement from his mother) his ambitions to rally to the sky but on a very different course it seems. Then came the day that everyone dreaded yet some praised. In a fight with RiverClan, an unknown warrior slew Bluestar. Bramblekit noticed the change in his sister but more so in his father. The young look alike watched from afar as his father altered from the lovely deputy to a defiant brave leader. At that very moment Bramblekit knew if those were the paws he would soon be forced to fill he wouldn't succeed unless he consumed himself within the exact traits of his father. THE PATH TO DARKNESS IS INVISIBLE IF YOUR LOOKING FOR IT Bramblepaw and Tawnypaw became apprentices just in time for leaf-bare to set in. The tom soon found that he would have more difficulty hunting than fighting as his heavy set left his paws sounding loudly about the forest. In this time of fear and war, Tigerstar seems more attentive to fighting and battling than anything else. Which caused Bramblepaw to take more liking to training in the Hollow rather than hunting for the clan yet Brambeclaw wasn't courageous enough to express those feelings being the passive character he was he just went about doing as he was told. But would that change as his father began to take more notice of him or would he defy his father and become something far more threatening than aiding to his beloved father? OTHER INFORMATON Note: Bramblepaw personality will change either as his father becomes closer and he accepts or he denies the ways his father wishes to enforce. OR He will continue down this pack with further but not much development as he notices his fathers further lack of interest. RP SAMPLE There was a pleasant breeze furling over the highest branches of the ThunderClan trees, shaking them slightly. A dark brown tabby tom nimbly grasped the wide trunk and scrabbled at the tough bark with his hind paws. This was not a failed attempt at climbing, no, this apprentice was only playing. Alone. Many would be self-conscious of playing while they were alone, but it had never really bothered Bramblepaw. In fact, he would rather have it that way. He looked up at the thick branches longingly. Through small gaps between the tree's appendages, he could see that the sky was clear and bright blue. Bramblepaw had always wanted to climb all the way up until he could see the sky clearly. Looking all around, the apprentice decided that no one was watching. He knew that he wasn't supposed to climb this daunting tree without supervision, but he was going to anyway. Grasping the trunk fiercely, he shimmied up to the first branches with no problem. "I can so do this," he encouraged himself aloud as he climbed up further. The tabby tom just continued upward, never looking down. This feeling was extraordinary. His heart pounded in his chest with adrenaline and fear and exhilaration. His breaths came out in puffs, short from the long haul up. Eventually, Bramblepaw reached his destination, and it was magnificent. Mouth gaping in awe, he sat precariously on an upper branch, looking at the view. If I can get up here with such ease I could follow in those massive footprints of my father right? A large gust of wind threatened to pull him off his perch, and Bramblepaw flattened himself to his branch. Maybe that was a sign from Starclan that I can’t, he thought as he glanced down to the smooth chestnut earth. Now the hard part: getting down. He had saw his father climb easily down one and began to recall while mimicking the paws he had placed. On the first stretch of the descent, everything was going well. Once his yellow eyes could see the ground, however, he began to get nervous of how high he was up. His legs shook in a terrible fit of fear. Pausing to calm down and catch his breath, Bramblepaw pushed himself against the trunk hard. Taking in a deep breath, he continued downward. At some point, his paw had been placed awkwardly, and he slipped. His body now hung from the branch, claws dug in for dear life. A terrifying screech hurt his eyes and it took him a moment to realize that the sound had come from him. Slowly, his claws began to ache and slide off the branch. He was going to die. That was the only thought in his mind. Finally, his weight was too much, and the tom broke loose from the branch. His body slammed into the tree's branches, knocking the breath from his chest each time. And then he was in a free fall, between the lowest branch and the ground. Only seconds before he was scheduled to plant into the cold, unforgiving earth, and his eyes flew open as he gasped. His paws had torn up his nest beyond repair. His heart beat erratically in his chest as Bramblepaw scraped up some sleeping material and settled back in. Sunrise wasn't for a little while longer, when he'd have to awaken and train. A sigh escaped from his mouth and he forced his heartbeat to slow. Maybe Starclan didn’t want me to follow my father’s exact path but to make up my own just like I had as I climbed to the top of the tree. The apprentice sighed again not exactly knowing for certain, he wished Starclan would be clear if it was a sign or not, but then again Bramblepaw thought everything was a sign lately. The distance between his sister and him seemed greater than usual and the tom had to change that. Especially considering their father didn’t take much interest in either of them they had to stick together right? ETCETERA OTHER CATS, |
