[atrb=style, width: 450px; -webkit-border-radius: 25px; -moz-border-radius: 25px; border-radius: 25px;][atrb=style, width: 80px; vertical-align: top;] | out-of-character rules This site is for mature, literate roleplayers. Our staff are not afraid to correct your grammar or refer you to our writing lab for help. Avoid chatspeak. This is a must in IC. In OOC, a couple of abbreviations are fine, but we are striving to maintain a mature atmosphere. "R u 4real?" gets annoying very quickly. No spamming, flaming, cursing other players, lying, bullying, etc. Be nice and courteous, and don't take advantage of other people. Basically, treat other members as you want them to treat you. Multiple accounts are allowed (eg. if you would like to make a separate account for each character), but please be honest about which accounts are yours. Let us know that "Rainy" and "Redpaw" and "Oakfoot" are all the same person. There is no limit on the amount of characters one person can have. Just please be sure to keep your characters active. Do not keep creating characters just to let them sit around and do nothing. If you are having trouble staying active, let us know. If real life is keeping you busy or you have to leave for a little while, post on the Hello/Goodbye board to keep us in-the-know. This way, you don't accidentally get deleted during an activity check or something. Keep up to date on the rules. They can change periodically (especially as the site grows and expands), so check back here. |

Posts should be at least one full paragraph in-length and adhere to basic grammar rules. The content of your post should be mature, but keep it appropriate. Light cursing is acceptable, but remember that most clan cats would use "mouse dung" or "Great StarClan!" rather than human swears. Nothing too crude, especially if you're RPing mates. Violence is acceptable (they are warriors, after all), just don't severely injure or kill another person's cat without their permission. Wait for your character to be accepted before posting with them in-character. Characters can be in more than one thread at a time. There is no set time lapse. We're not going to say that two weeks real time equals one month game time or anything like that. Cats can age at any reasonable pace you like, so when you're ready for your kit to become an apprentice or for your warrior to reach old age and retire, just let your clan leader know! Creating mini-plots with your character is a great idea! However, if it is going to be something major (ie. something that affects an entire clan), it must be approved by an admin. When creating a character, keep in mind a few rules: - male torties/calicos must be purchased from the store |
