[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign,top] 34 MOONS She-cat WindCLAN Warrior | [atrb=style, width: 296px; padding: 5px; background-color: e3e3e3; border-top: 4px solid #000000;] GENERAL INFORMATION NAME, Fawnleap EXPLANATION, |
BRIEF DESCRIPTION,Light brown tabby she-cat with amber eyes
FAMILY, Mother: Snowshine
Father: Spiderstep
Brothers: Smokewhisker
APPEARANCE
Light brown tabby she-cat.
At birth, Fawnleap was named for her light brown pelt. How was her mother to know that the name would fit even better when she was older? Fawnleap is no where near being the biggest cat in her den. Heck, even some of the apprentices are bigger than her! Admittedly it would be the older apprentices, the ones closest to being named a warrior, but the point is that she's small and stream-lined.
Her eyes are some of the brightest yellow the forest will ever see. They're the kind that stand out in a dark, moonless night. Her muscles are thin and wiry, more meant for running and leaping than fighting.

PERSONALITY
Positive: Fun-loving, Optimistic, Popular
Fawnleap enjoys laughing. She believes that the world would be a better place if everyone would just smile. It's her mission in life to make everyone as happy as can be. She dislikes depression with an intensity that borderlines hatred. She'd never say it, because hate is a very strong word.
But of course, in order to be so fun-loving, she needs to look on the bright side of things constantly. Which is honestly no trouble at all, since she's naturally a 'glass half full' kind of gal. Always has been! It gets on her brother's nerves, the mouse-brained pessimist that he is. Smokewhisker seems to be the only cat that she can't cheer up, though it's not from lack of trying!
Her tireless energy and constant outlook on life makes her popular with her Clanmates. She plays with the kits when the queens need a break and she keeps the elders feeling young. Fawnleap may annoy her more serious Clanmates every once in a while by neglecting her duties, but they know she'd die for any one of them if it came down to it.
Negative: Nosy, Loud, Stubborn
Fawnleap is a gossiper. Unless you want your secret all over camp by the end of the day, I suggest keeping it far out of Fawnleap's hearing range. She needs to always know everything, even something private. Who's having an argument, who's having who's kits, and so on and so forth. She considers it a grand atrocity when she doesn't know something.
And you can guarantee that she'll shout out whatever she hears. It's not out of meanness that she does it, she's just excessively loud. The concept of an 'inside voice' goes right over Fawnleap's head. Even during Gatherings with the other Clans, her voice projects naturally over everyone else's. Vigils are the only times she ever keeps quiet, because there's nothing fun about death.
If Fawnleap wants you to smile, then darn you you're going to smile! If she has to skip all of her patrols and duties to follow you around, then by StarClan she's going to! And she won't stop until you're as happy as she is. Her stubbornness is only matched by her loudness, which is honestly saying something!
HISTORY
It was an accident, really. Snowshine hadn't really meant to fall in love with Spiderstep. I mean, really, who could love him? He was a snippy tomcat, always with a witty comeback that would leave you feeling stupid. Perhaps that's what she fell in love with, though.
Spiderstep, on the other paw, wasn't really the type to settle down. He had no problems having kits with a she-cat, but he openly expressed that he felt he'd never fall in love. It was only after Snowshine was already pregnant that she confessed to him. Since he didn't love her back, he turned her down gently.
To his surprise, there wasn't any hard feelings. Snowshine told him she just wanted him to know. To her, kits were the result of a bond between cats, however short that bond is. honest with him about her feelings, even if she didn't expect him to reciprocate. So though Spiderstep still didn't believe in love, he grew a little bit more fond of her.
It was sunhigh when Snowshine went into labor. By dusk, she'd birthed three kittens. The oldest was a dark gray tabby tom, just like his father. They named him Ravenkit. Next was a lighter shaded gray tom, which they named Smokekit. And last was the only she-kit in the litter, whom they named Fawnkit. She most resembled Snowshine with her light brown pelt and slim shape, though she was the only one of the litter to get Spiderstep's yellow eyes. The other two had Snowshine's green eyes.
Being the older two and toms, Ravenkit and Smokekit had a closer bond than they did with their sister. They often excluded her from games just because she was a girl. Oh, they never hated her! They couldn't hate her even if they wanted to. She was such a sunshiny ball of fur, smiling no matter what was going on and always up for adventure. Their exclusion never hurt her because she had other friends to play with.
There were a pair of brothers in the nursery with them, a few moons older. They were named Rainkit and Stormkit, both fluffy gray toms with identical blue eyes. They treated her better than her own brothers, and occasionally Fawnkit slept with them in their nest whenever Ravenkit or Smokekit were kicking in their nest.
Spiderstep and Rumblethorn, their father, used to joke about her falling in love with one of them. They were best friends, the two fathers, and usually they ended up wrestling like kits themselves while their children cheered them on. Snowshine and Palewhisker, their mother, often just rolled their eyes at the antics of the toms they'd ended up falling in love with.
Being older, though, Rainkit and Stormkit became apprentices before her. Things slightly changed for the three of them. Rainpaw was the more serious about training and couldn't always make time to play with Fawnkit, but Stormpaw went out of his way to. He put off meeting his mentor out in the forest to spend time with both Fawnkit and her brothers.
