PERSONALITY
Hailstorm can be quite spiteful when she feels like it. Those that she cares none for may bear the wrath of her steely gaze. She isn't the type to hate anyone, but, like most, there are still a select few that she does not get along with. Generally, once she dislikes someone, she rarely changes her opinion of them, but that doesn't mean she is quick to judge. Hailstorm is calm and calculative, taking time to form an opinion and remaining neutral until she makes her mind up.
Hailstorm doesn't care what others think of her personally. She knows what limits there are to not-caring and won't do anthing drastic, but generally, opinions about herself are only acceptable if they are made by her. She can be very self-riteous and stubborn and doesn't like to admitting to any mistakes, but once any mistakes are made then she feels guilty. She loves to mess with others minds

HISTORY
Her mother was Oakdapple. She was killed in a freak accident on ThunderClan land during a scuffle while Hailkit was only a kit, creating her fixation with ThunderClan themselves. Hailkit's father was never made known to anyone. After Oakdapple's death, Hailkit stayed in the nursery for a moon not wanting to play and staying in the corner. She would only eat every couple of days. After a while, she herd the leader call her name and she decided to go see why. It was a surprise that her sixth moon had came and she was apprenticed. Her mentor was Darkwing. When she was an apprentice she had one love, Wolfpaw. When her mentor noticed he said to her "That cat doesn't love you and plus love will make you weak, If you want to be strong, don't fall for anyone." Those words stuck in her head for a very long time. She started to not hang out with Wolfpaw anymore and train most hours of the day. It was like Darkwing had a spell on her.
At twelve moons of age, Darkwing finally allowed Hailpaw to be renamed Hailstorm with a full warriors promotion. the she-cat was eager to finally have more duties, and to no longer have to answer to a mentor.
Only a few short moons after Hailstorm earned her warrior name, she was granted an apprentice, a promising young tom named Icepaw. Quiet and humble, the tom was a good student, and Hailstorm tried to manipulate her duties as a way for Darkwing to pay attention to her once again. Instead, deciding that Icepaw was taking time away from stalking the object of his focus, she killed the tom, and brought his body back to camp, claiming she had found the apprentice covered with wounds and surrounded by the scent of rouges. Hailstorm played the part of grieving mentor well, and no one considered foul play.
