So, after an entire school year of being at home very little, I have been with my family 24/7 for almost an entire week now. Not a good thing. My grandmother is the worst of them all, much to my shock, we usually get along really well. Usually my mom and/or brother are the problem (never Dad, I love my dad :3 plus, I haven't seen him in six months). Anyways, so I was just at lunch and my brother's a bit on the chunky side. He'd had quite enough lunch and then he tried to plead for something else. So I was like, "Hey, you've had enough now."
And then my grandmother gets all up on me and is all like, "Mehmehmeh you never say nice things lalabluhhh be nice eughh you're so blearggg"
and so I'm all thinking, HOP OFF MY LADY BALLS! and it's like, excuse me for tryna look out for my brother. The bugger's annoying, but I do love him, so soooorree! You don't see anyone else doing that. Not my fault if I try to watch out for him so he's healthy and not a two-hundred-pound, 5-foot-tall BLOB.
And besides, my brother's her little favorite and eff me if I say ONE THING to him that's not "I love you."
Tell me a story about your crazy, obnoxious, infuriating family to make me feel better about mine xD Alright, le'zz go!

Oh good lord you're in over your head there Gray <3
My family is such a pain some days too, I mean I love them all BUUUT there are days I just want to slap them!
My mother is always jumping down my throat, I never had a wild-streak in my life and yet I'm still not good enough for you? Like really? Not to mention she goes through all my stuff and if there is a blank piece of paper she needs to know why it's still blank and why I'm not doing my homework... NOT ALL HOMEWORK IS MANDATORY >.>
Beyond that my father's going through a mid-life crisis and buying things left and right while I try to scramble up enough money to get through school. And then I'm the selfish one?
My grandmother is overly judgmental of everyone who isn't her favorite (luckily I'm one of her favorites but that just means I listen to all the bad things about my family and her friends), my aunts and uncles have terrible relationships with my parents, the list goes on.
I'm an only child so I get all the bad and the good that comes with it...

Ouch, that does not sound fun): If I may ask, how old are you? I hate the situation when you have to listen to people you like trash other people you like. Never easy xD I'm not an only child (haha obviously since I have a little brother). He has Autism so I get kinda pushed off to the side because I 'won't mind' and I'm the 'easy child'. Man, would I love to have non-mandatory homework! <3
...why do I feel like this thread is gonna become uber popular and way too much fun? O.o

... -snort giggle- "Hop off my lady balls". Very elegant, Gray. XD Honestly, I have it easy. There are five people living in this house: my mother, my father, my brother, my brother's girlfriend, and myself. I'm the only one without a job, and I'm not actively searching for one either. But I don't do much around the house without being asked. I'm the one every family has, the one that people complain about.

This is just what I need right now.
So, today I wanted to go see Equestria girls because the next showtime in my area isn't for another two and a half weeks. I have been waiting all week to go see this movie. It was one movie.
Apparently, despite the fact that I'll be 20 years old in like 6 weeks and just moved back home for the summer after spending a year living on my own at university, I'm still not allowed to go to a movie by myself.
My sister accused me of lying about where I wanted to go because she didn't believe that the movie theatre showed movies as early as it did. So I pulled up the page on the computer and got ridiculed by my mother and sister, who laughed at me for like twenty minutes straight and made several jokes about how they need to take me to a doctor to "get my mentality checked" because I wanted to see a my little pony movie. Thanks guys, I really appreciate being ridiculed, I'm used to that from my first three years of hell - erm, high school, but I still want to go see that movie. I have my driving licence, my own car and a job to pay for the gas and the ticket. I will see that movie whether you like it or not.
I seriously cannot wait to go back to school.
Summer, I know you just got here but you can be over now. Please.

Lol, Shiny, my 24 year old married flute teacher taught me that one. She's supposed to be classy and poised. Not me xD
Aw, I'm sorry to hear they made fun of you Lo): That's ridiculous. I am 15 years old and I asked for a Tinkerbell movie (it's called Secret of the Wings) for Christmas. I hate when people's parents judge them so stupidly. My friend's dad once told her that her friends all bail on plans with her because she's gay. It was nice to prove him wrong and have her sleep over with my friend and me(:

Homophobia is the worst thing ever. I don't have very many close friends, period, and coincidentally about half of my best friends are not heterosexual, so I get really upset when people like my mother make homophobic comments. I've even slapped people before for using "that's gay" as an insult. They were really shocked because I'm usually like the most non-violent person ever.
My mother also thinks I'm gay because I care about equal rights for everyone (because omg, equality? that's, like, so gay! </sarcasm>), even though I have a boyfriend who I'm crazy about and have been with for nearly three years now. I don't get it either, but homosexuality is not an insult, so I don't really care when she makes comments about me based on her assumptions of my sexuality.

To each their own, that is what I live by. I don't care what anyone does, I just ask they don't rub it in my face whether it's religion, sexuality (straight, bi or gay), fandoms etc. That's how I've always lived. I'm always willing to listen to people's problems and help solve them, no matter how silly the problem seems to me, it isn't necessarily silly to them.
Similarly I figure: if you don't like me, I DON'T CARE. lol.

C'mon, Lo, of course equality is like so gay. Get your life together. *le epic eyeroll* My least favorite thing is when people assume stuff for no reason. I like Tale's stand on this(:
