Herb collecting along the border

Talonpaw had awoken to the dawn. He walked calmly out to meet his mentor in the center of the medicine den. "Talonpaw, good morning. Apprentice I need you to go collect some poppy seeds up near the border. Are you up for it?" Running nose had asked. Talon agreed and left camp in search of the poppy seeds he needed to find. He found a patch hiding under a bramble thicket.He unsheathed his unusually long claws and moved the brambles to get to his poppy seed prize. He pushed his orange tail cloven in black stripes high into the air as he began shaking the dried poppy flower head. He then stood up as he heard a monster coming.

Talonpaw's nose picked up the thunderpaths scent and he turned away. He looked for a large leaf and soon found one. He reached up and grabbed it, but as he did his ears picked up a small angry meowing. He put his leaf down and took to a bush near the thunderpath. He peered out across the Thunder path "Someone there?" he asked.
