Darkheart A slow wind carried the cold through camp. It crept into the dens silently stirring the cats within. A growl of annoyance pierced the silence as a silver tabby she-cat emerged from the warriors den. Her icy eyes darted around camp to see it quite empty. She hissed as another blast of wind broke through. I will go hunting to warm my self up. First though I have to find some others to go hunting with me, Darkheart thought to herself. Then she peeked back into the warriors den. " Anyone up for a hunting patrol?" She hissed as to not wake anyone up who wasn't already.

Frostheart puffs up her fur against the cold wind, shivering in her nest. The white warrior had been up on sentry duty late last night, and had been hoping to sleep in a little this morning. Sure, she'd feel bad about it later, when she was out hunting for nonexistent prey, but just now she wanted nothing more than to remain curled up in her nest among the sleeping warriors for a few more minutes. She curls in on herself and closes her eyes a little tighter, and...
Another gust of wind sets her shivering again. It was no good; she was awake. Might as well make something useful of herself, then. The big white she-cat gets up, careful not trod on anyone's tail. She picks her way through the nests towards the entrance, stopping with one paw in the air as Darkheart's face appears at the entrance. Frostheart flicks an ear; Darkheart wasn't her favorite cat, but she had been about to go hunting, anyway. "Yes, I'll go," she hisses softly, quickly going the rest of the way out of the den into the main clearing.
Once outside, Frostheart lets out a yawn and bows in a long, luxurious stretch. Straightening up, she shakes out her pelt, then bushes it up against the early morning chill; of course, it was cold no matter what time nowadays, but early morning chill was even worse than sunhigh chill, and was nearly as bad as moonhigh chill. She sits down and turns her gaze towards Darkheart, green eyes expectant. "Where would you like to go?" she asks.

(OOC: Sorry it took so long. I tried to pick the best hunting spot )
Darkheart
Darkheart nodded when she saw the white warrior come out of their den. Darkheart knew that Frostheart wasn't her favorite person. She also knew that Frostheart felt the same toward her. Darkheart took the moment to think of a perfect hunting spot. As the thought dawned on her another gust of wind sent a chill through her fur. Darkheart hissed at the wind, Frostheart was lucky for her fur, but sadly Darkheart wasn't blessed with her long fur.
"If I would have to pick it would be the shade pool and if not there then the burnt sycamore." Darkheart said. She knew they might find some lizards and frogs at the shadepool. Although if they didn't then they could go to the burnt sycamore to find some prey. Hopefully, they would find food for their clan.

Frostheart remains silent as Darkheart considers where to hunt. The striped she-cat was welcome to take charge of this trip; Frostheart was still waking up. Sentry duty was exhausting, especially in these times; one was always wondering if the wind in the marsh grasses was really wind, or perhaps the sound of the pelts of invading cats coming to attack. She was well aware that many of the other Clans--even RiverClan, their supposed allies--would be more than happy to drive them out and get rid of Brokenstar. While she was confident that their warriors could drive off anything that came their way, leafbare was a horrid time for a battle. With nothing but these thoughts and false alarms to occupy her late at night, was it any wonder Frostheart hadn't slept well?
The white she-cat blinks as Darkheart speaks up again, suggesting the shade pool and burnt sycamore. At least she didn't say RiverClan. Anything was better than hunting in RiverClan territory, even diving for fish in the freezing waters of the shade pool. Well, if they had any luck, it wouldn't come to that. The shade pool generally had some manner of critters crawling around to be brought home for the Clan, and if not there might be some squirrels at the sycamore. "All right, let's go," she says, getting to her paws. "Lead the way."

Darkheart nodded as she looked at the barrier. It's gorse bushes making a solitary defense. Darkheart walked toward the entrance and nodded at the silver furred warrior who sat on guard duty. When her paws met the cold ground, she charged in the direction of the shade pool. She thundered through the territory until she was close enough to see the plants around the dark waters. She stopped and breathed in the scents seeking out any prey she could find.
A scent pricked her attention and she focused in on a fern. She dropped down into a hunter crouch her legs bunched together making her weight shift onto her haunches. She slowly crept toward her unsuspecting prey. as she did she noticed the green skin of her prey. With accurate estimation she leaped into the air and her prey attempted to leap but was knocked against a tree a claw in it's throat. Darkheart grinned and reached down to pick up the freshly killed prey.
