APPEARANCE
A small she-cat with soft round features and short but very soft fur. Her body is petit and average in size. She's covered in soft downy white fur with smoky gray patches and large mint-green eyes. Mint has long flexible whiskers, on the left side of her face she has all ivory whiskers but on the right side of her face 3 of her 6 whiskers are black. Her paws are slightly larger than average and round concealing short straight needle-like claws. Naturally Mint was born with a long pretty tail but a badger attack during an unplanned adventure, as a kit, reverted her tail to nothing more than a little gray bob.
If she hadn't lost her tail.

PERSONALITY
Mint is a soft spoken individual who isn't fond of confrontations or unnecessary violence. She understands that sometimes warriors have to fight to defend their clan and therefore she must learn to fight too but if she could avoid it, she would. Mint doesn't tend to have ideas of her own, she's very intelligent but a very "sheep" personality. Mint tends to follow her sister around for the most part because she wouldn't admit it but she's just as curious and adventurous as Breeze, but too shy to go alone. In general Mint takes a while to warm up to anyone new, but once she does warm up to someone she's warm and open and loving. She always wants people to praise her and feels terrible when she gets scolded. Similarly, once she is comfortable with a cat she could go on for hours about what she had learned. She likes to teach and she always wants to be available to aid her friends whenever they need it. Her only down fall is she is shy and very easily lead. This may be a youthful thing and perhaps in time she will grow out of it... but for the time being Mint is a rather needy cat.

HISTORY
The first sound that Mintkit remembered was the rustling and whistling of wind through the reeds and the heather of the moorlands on her first day of life. It is odd that the little kit remembers that day, even if it’s vague, but Mint had always had a fantastic memory. The scent of mint drifted through the camp that day and sheltered Mousefoot and Ashstripe’s second litter. The names of the kits were each symbolic. Breezekit for the wind and for Mousefoot’s deceased mother, Stonekit for his great gray coat and finally Mintkit for the sweet soothing sent that captured that day.
In the few weeks to come it became rather obvious how things were going to go throughout life for the trio. Stonekit would always tell Breezekit that doing something was a bad idea and Mintkit would agree but torn between her siblings and forced on by curiosity Mintkit would chose to follow her sister into danger every time… she hated getting in trouble but sometime the knowledge was worth it. Mintkit hated to be alone, she wouldn’t leave without Breezekit but from time to time the little kit would pause for too long by the medicine den, staring into the little dark den and absorbing the scents. She was always too shy to just go in and ask questions like Breezekit would do but at the same time she couldn’t bring herself to leave. Forever trapped in a limbo like state between leaving and going in.
Now about halfway between apprenticeship and kithood Breezekit took her adventures a little too far… She wanted to leave camp! Mintpaw protested with every step but before she knew it she was greeted with the scent of brilliant heather and sweet grass! It was like walking through a waking dream! To this day Mint remembers every last detail of the incident, but speaks about it to very few. A scent had caught her attention, a sweet aroma and the little kit was too distracted only noticing an angry badger the moment her siblings ran past her in fear. She tried to follow them but suddenly there was a sharp pain and she couldn’t move. The kit flailed and dug her tiny claws deep into the thing’s snout on instinct alone but it wasn’t until the warriors came that she was free. One shake of the creature’s head and her tail had come clean off leaving little more than a stub.
One moment of Mintpaw’s short life that she doesn’t remember was the trip back home… she must have passed out from blood loss but the next thing she did remember was waking up in the medicine cat den. She was thrilled! Oh how wonderful the den was! The scents that other cats didn’t like she found a love for but… she couldn’t be a medicine cat, could she? She tried to avoid thinking like that. Her next thought was for her tail… so little balance without a tail… she’d never be a good climber now…
Now Mintkit was ready… it was apprentice ceremony time. She would get her apprentice name and mentor alongside her siblings… but what Mintpaw never told anyone was that she didn’t want to be a warrior. She would have died to become a medicine cat, but she couldn’t tell anyone that. She would just have to go down in history as the worst warrior ever… after all, with the loss of her tail Mintpaw lost her confidence as well.
