APPEARANCE
PERSONALITY
she's a rambunctious little bugger, absolutely obnoxious, but what can you expect? she was the only child and absolutely doted upon but never disciplined. then, BOOM, her mother dies. her father doesn't know what to do or how to raise a kit and so she really was just absolutely spoiled rotten. she gets into all kind of mischief and will actually be offended if she gets punished for it. she has no respect for authority and is pretty loud about it.
she's also got a nasty temper and can hiss something fierce. in her younger moons, this really just seemed like a penchant for temper trantrums--she would claw and hiss and bite like no tomorrow--but now that she's older and has more muscle control, it's developed into an outright hot streak. seriously, if you value your pelt, don't make this girl mad.
but despite being so obnoxious, she's got some good stuff going for her. really, i think it's just a matter of maturity and discipline needed to straighten her out. she has a sense of loyalty to the clan and a certain respect for starclan that could make her a really good warrior and if she learns that relationships aren't always about her, she could actually become a really good friend. she just has some issues that she needs to work out before she can get to that point. until then, i can see her being really cliquish and... catty (badumCHHH).
she also seems to be somewhat of a ringleader, even if the ring she's leading is made up only of herself, so perhaps she has some leadership skill in her somewhere?
really, i think all of her future personality depends on how her apprenticeship goes. for now let's just say she's like the coming storm!

HISTORY
well, brightpool's labor was one of the roughest the medicine cat had ever seen. poor tortoisekit, a little tortie she-kit, was born still, but her sweetheart mother still insisted on naming her, even through the horrible pain. minnowkit came next, small but breathing and alive as ever. and finally, bringing up the rear, frogkit, a tiny little tom. the labor was premature and both the living kits struggled to survive. minnowkit lasted longer than her brother and soon our little bundle of joy was an only child. but that wasn't the worst news. brightpool had a hard time recovering and soon starclan called her to be with them. a motherless only child, minnowkit soon became the worst kind of spoiled.
she was the diva of the nursery. her father didn't know what to do with her and wasn't a very strong parent, and the other queens mostly felt too sorry for her to really put their paw down. she spoiled absolutely rotten.
but it wasn't so cute when she became a sassy older kit and even her sob story couldn't keep the queens from wishing minnowkit would get to the apprentice den fast. unfortunately, it wasn't in her plans. she was so devious that she would sneak out of camp every night, and when one of the kits told on her, she was confined to the nursery. of course, she was having none of that, and she soon snuck out again---on the night of the gathering, so she could listen in from the bushes! of course, she got caught, and she was then confined to the nursery for even longer. her apprenticeship was delayed by a moon and a half.
now, she is finally an apprentice, and her time has come to leave the nursery and explore the world of "grown ups". better wish her luck, because this princess in gonna need it.
