[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign,top] 43 MOONS TOM WINDCLAN WARRIOR | [atrb=style, width: 296px; padding: 5px; background-color: e3e3e3; border-top: 4px solid #000000;] GENERAL INFORMATION NAME, Mudclaw BRIEF DESCRIPTION, mottled dark brown tom FAMILY,Mother - Darkflower - deceased Father - Dustfoot - deceased Siblings - Blacknose - deceased Tawnykit - deceased APPEARANCE Mudclaw is a large and well-built tabby tom. He has a short dark brown mackarel pelt, covered in a messy array of large darker brown splotches. There is a scar that runs across the muzzle of his hardened face and another on his left shoulder. His amber eyes provide a stark contrast against his mud-colored fur. PERSONALITY Mudclaw is well known to be hot-headed, preferring his claws over diplomacy. Although he is able to show respect during Gatherings, Mudclaw can get obnoxiously aggresive and territorial during patrols. He can be very resentful as he finds it difficult to put past feuds behind him, and he's always paranoid of the other clans. His imagination toys with him, believing that if they so much as leave their scent near the borders, they must be up to something bad. Mudclaw is forward and isn't afraid to speak his mind, but this usually leads to him making irrational decisions and words that could even hurt his own clanmates. Despite all this, Mudclaw geniunely cares for all Windclan cats, especially for Tallstar. He seems to have great affection and patience towards kits and apprentices. You can rely on this cat to serve his clan till the day he dies. He is highly ambitious and gets his jobs done fast, sparing no time for nonsense. HISTORY Kit-hood Mudkit was the eldest of his litter, as well as the biggest. Blackkit, his brother, followed after him and then his sister Tawnykit was last. He would playfully tease his younger siblings, challeging them into wrestles. Tawnykit was born frail and meek, and mother Darkflower would often scold him if he got too rough. Unfortunately, his sister didn't made it that far in life after getting snatched away from a falcon when Tawnykit strayed too far away from the nursery burrow in determination to show she was as strong as her brothers. Mudkit promises that he'd protect his littermates more in the future, and was more gentle with the wrestling. Apprenticeship Mudkit is renamed to Mudpaw and taken under the wing of his own father, Dustfoot. His brother Blackkit also had his name changed to Blackpaw. Mudpaw showed excellence in combat, that sometimes even his father would run short of breath during training. Blackpaw showed promise in tracking and hunting, both helped out each other and shared their techniques. The two made a good team and promised to become warriors together. Mudpaw gains his warrior name Mudclaw, and his brother becomes Blacknose. Warrior Some time after he was made warrior, he joins Onewhisker to drive out a moor-dwelling fox. ShadowClan attacks their camp. He joins his father and brother to try and defend their camp while the elders and mothers were taken somewhere safe. In battle, Blacknose was blinded and was given the killing bite by an enemy warrior when his defenses were lowered. Outraged by such foulplay, Mudclaw threw himself into a hot fury at the ShadowClan warrior and was able to deal huge damage to chase him off. However, while he wasn't looking, Dustfoot was surrounded by a gang of other ShadowClan warriors. Mudclaw barely made it alive in a two-against-five battle, and had to flee with his father, who was fataly injured on his left leg that caused him to limp. Half way towards the shelter WindClan was, Dustfoot died of bloodloss. Mudclaw spent the night mourning and buried him by day. Mudclaw busied himself with hunting rats as WindClan took shelter in the dark tunnel near Highstones and a Twolegplace. Even in Greenleaf, prey was scarce in the area, causing his mother Darkflower to die from malnutrition. Mudclaw heaps the blame on ShadowClan for robbing him of his family. Leaf-fall arrived and ThunderClan comes to the rescue. Although he felt it was shameful that another clan had come to help them, there was no time for pride and right now his clan could use all the help it could get. He helps his clan return to camp, letting kits ride on his back and gently nudged his elders on. Mudclaw becomes the mentor of Webpaw, who he treats like his own son. Brokenstar soon declares war against WindClan and ThunderClan. Mudclaw mostly rests his priorities in his home clan. Mudclaw found Tigerstar's actiosn suspicious when the Thunderclan leader proposes the idea of TigerClan, which was thankfully rejected. He becomes outright mad when Thunderclan welcomes a band of rogues who called themselves 'Bloodclan' into the alliance and starts to distrust the ThunderClan leader. Mudclaw's apprentice, Webpaw, becomes Webfoot. Mudclaw is eternally proud. ShadowClan's worth sinks down as low as fox-dung to Mudclaw when they stole their right to use the tunnels. Tigerstar tries pushing the idea of TigerClan again which irritates him. OTHER INFORMATON In terms of holding the longest grudge ever, I can relate to Mudclaw with that. I hope that maybe it'd make it easier for me to roleplay as him. RP SAMPLE Silverpelt had just blanketed itself over the jet-black sky, while the moon waned high above them. The lack of trees in the bare moors caused the moonlight to just spill it's soft white glow all over WindClan territory. Mudclaw led the patrol that night, together with a couple more warriors and their apprentices. On this night, the clan's namesake element gave them aid. The wind blew towards camp, giving them the upper hand in sniffing out any unwanted outsiders. Foxes, badgers and ShadowClan cats to name a few. ShadowClan. The very name sickens him, causing his tail to twitch in annoyance. Good for nothing pieces of fox dung, the whole lot of them are. Although Onewhisker would preach on and on about how it's only Brokenstar's appaling leadership causing everyone's problems, then why doesn't ShadowClan speak up and overthrow the mouse-brained fool? In fact, that just makes the entire ShadowClan a lot worse - they're nothing but a group of spineless cowards who can't spend a moment to reflect on their actions, and instead just follow the wretched like the mindless drones they are. They can never be called real cats. "Are you alright, Mudclaw?" The patrol stopped to a halt. Mudclaw turned around harshly, staring down at the warrior while lashing his tail wildly. Seeing Mudclaw's unexplained anger, the warrior dipped his head to quickly dismiss whatever he said wrong. When Mudclaw saw this, he realized his temper got the best of him once again. "Let's just keep going." he muttered apologetically. If anything, he didn't want to hurt his clanmates for his rashness. The air became tense as the line of cats continued to pad along their side of the borders of RiverClan. Mudclaw felt guilt for that. As the patrol drew to a close, Mudclaw rewarded his team with a plump, juicy hare. As the warriors and apprentices tucked in and gossiped before they went back to their dens to rest, Mudclaw sat down and looked up at the stars. He would thank StarClan for giving them the best view of Silverpelt, but all he had were questions. When will ShadowClan and RiverClan get off their backs? Will they ever come out victorious? Will Tigerclaw ever stop pushing them about his idea of a superclan? In the sky, Mudclaw watched a cluster of four stars twinkle at him. For the first time that night, he relaxed his shoulders. His family was watching over him. Everything will be fine. With that, he ate the leftover scraps, buried the bones, and retreated to the warrior's den. ETCETERA OTHER CATS, |
