BRIEF DESCRIPTION, A well built, midnight black she-cat with striking gray eyes.
FAMILY,
APPEARANCE
>>built
Agility and strength. A combo of the two are rarely found in a feline. Some of both can normally be scrounged up, but the a good, gentle mix of both can be very rare. They would need strong leg muscles, but not too strong so they won't be in the way of aerodynamics. The feline would need to be lithe. They would need to be able to not only sprint but also have great endurance. This is the build of Shadow. She is strong and fast. Her muscles are clearly defined and protrude from her fur as she walks, rippling and flexing with every movement.
>>pelt
Raven. Ebony. Onyx. Sable. Ink. All of these words could be used to describe the color of Shadow's fur. The most common word to describe her in general would be black. Black as coal. Her fur is short and slick. She is raven from head to toe, not another color hidden in her pelt of even a blemish anywhere. She has several scars on his side and neck, but they only add to the dark air that surrounds her.
>>eyes and face
Shadow has a very uncommon eye color. They are a stormy gray, seeming to always be swirling. Even though they aren't, of course. They are merciless and cold, never showing any emotion. They fit her well, giving her the air of mystery and a certain appeal. They are on the thinner and wider side, but not by much. They slant slightly, giving her a menacing look. Most cats think eyes are the doorway to the heart, but such is not the case with Shadow. They are empty. Empty as can be. (I looked up cats having gray eyes, in case someone had a question, and here is where I found my answer.)
PERSONALITY
She got this trait from her father. She has an aura of mystery that surrounds her, engulfs her even. It practically breathes around her. This draws cats in, and her emotionless eyes only further add to the mystery of Shadow. No one knows of her feelings or thoughts. Her smile, a white-toothed grin that looks misplaced on her empty face, makes her seem welcoming. Her soft, soothing voice, entrances her listeners. All of this combined makes him that she-cat. The she-cat that toms flock to, but never get. The she-cat that other she-cats hate and love at the same time. However, she is not by any means perfect.
Sorry to those who are sad, if you're looking for sympathy, Shadow isn't one to go to. She isn't empathic. In fact, she hardly feels emotion. She doesn't feel love. She can feel anger and sadness and happiness, but anything else is past her. She is far from one to flatter you or flirt with you. She is not going to do something just to make you happy, especially if causes her grief. She cannot comprehend love, let alone understand and feel it. She loathes any emotion really. She believes them to be petty, useless things that get in the way of intelligence. However, she can feel. She just prefers not to.
This she-cat is anything but trashy. She carries her head high and walks like she's floating. She has an atmosphere around her that demands attention. Shadow is the type of she-cat who prides herself on being educated. She believes the world to be idiotic compared to her superiority. Her tail flows with her body. Every step she takes, every move she makes, is planned. She is methodical and patient.
That's right, this she-cat has quite the temper despite her patience. However, it is not the type of temper that you would normally expect. She bottles her emotions, never lets them show. She keeps all the hurt she feels and all the disappointment she's had kept deep down in her heart, kept under lock and key. Her eyes don't even show the simplest of emotions. Due to this, her temper is a slow boil. Things pile on top of each other, and slowly all of her patience dwindles away and leaves her with rage. Her rage, however, never shows. Rather, she'll take it out on animals, mostly small prey, or flowers, or anything nearby. Anything but other cats. She refuses to harm another being like her. She refuses to be her father.

HISTORY
Shadow was born to two very different parents and an annoying sister. Silvertear was a prissy, delicate she-cat that taught respect with her soft voice. Gingerfrost was an overbearing father with a nasty temper. He would often yell and scream and Silvertear and she just seemed to take it. Whether or not this affected Ash and Shadow's relationship or not, will never be known, but the two did not get along. And not just in the sisterly way. They were complete opposites trying to live in the same space as each other. Ash was a hotheaded, impulsive, fun-loving she-cat whereas Shadow was not. Ash loved to play with toms, Shadow did not. Ash loved to go explore, and though Shadow did not mind, she did not particularly enjoy being chased after by angry warriors in the middle of the night because her sister was stupid and played a prank. Nevertheless, they survived their kithood with almost no injuries (Ash fell off a tree during one of their escapes and scratched up her nose pretty bad. Shadow thought it was HILAROUS. Ash diiiddd not think it was so funny).
As they became apprentices, it wasn't so bad. They weren't constantly fighting anymore because they weren't constantly with each other. However, whoever had the bright idea to put their nests right next to each other was an idiot. The whole apprentice den didn't get any sleep for the first couple weeks because of Ash and Shadow's bickering. Thankfully, though, some nice apprentices moved their nests FAR away from each other very shortly. When they were seven moons, their mother died of greencough. Ash was devastated, and blamed it on their father. And though Shadow hated her father for everything he did (including yelling and hitting other cats) she could not find it in her heart to blame him. It was a disease. Not even her father could beat the disease out of her mother. Yet another thing that Ash and Shadow disagreed on. Shadow continued her training with diligence, easily becoming the fastest improving apprentice in her fighting and hunting. Her intelligence combined with her structure equaled a deadly combination. She did not have extreme capabilities (her mentor still beat her some times) and did not pretend to have them. Ash was the best hunter (despite Shadow's efforts to beat her in everything) of the apprentices, and also the one toms flocked to. Shadow might have been prettier, but she had made it very apparent that she was not interested. It was during this time she found her love for killing prey and her love for feeling their blood ooze through her claws and the release it gave her.
And so one night, as they lay awake bickering outside the apprentice den, Gingerfrost made an appearance. He ordered them out of the camp, and they followed him with fear trembling in their paws. Shadow did not make her fear as apparent as Ash did, but it was their, gnawing at her belly. He walked them to the border of Windclan and stopped. I'm leaving now. You may come with me if you wish. If you don't, then I will not hold it against you. Ash and Shadow looked at each other with wide eyes. Why was he leaving? Why did he want them to come with him? What was he planning? Shadow backed away. She hated her father. She hated who he was and what he represented. She hated him for creating her. Ash, however, did not back away at all. She stepped to her father and said she would follow him to the end of the world. Shadow thought she was stupid and ignorant and being impulsive as always. But said nothing. She just turned away and did not look back as she heard their footsteps getting lighter and lighter until they were no more.
They found their bodies mangled together a the bank of the river a week later.
Everyone else thought it was a fight between them, but Shadow knew, her father had done something to piss someone off and made Ash pay for his consequences as well. Shadow didn't care though. They did it to themselves. She finished up her training and became a warrior with no sadness on her mind. She had become apathetic.
Her warrior life has been rather uneventful. With little to no thought about her family and their fates, she has continued being a loyal warrior to Shadowclan. When Tigerstar took over Thunderclan, she knew from the very second she saw him she hated him. She hated his guts. And if the time ever came that she met him alone in the forest, only one of them would come out alive. But anyway. Not important. She has yet to mentor an apprentice (probably due to her lack of tolerance for anything at all) and has also yet to have a mate (probably due to the fact she doesn't encourage socializing).
