Despite his short stature, Scourge is a fearsome cat. His signature is the studded, purple collar he wears around his neck; teeth from dogs and cats decorate it. Similarly, his claws have been reinforced with dog teeth. As if to add to his overall intimidating appearance, his left ear is torn. PERSONALITY Scourge has a mean disposition and acts as though he has something to prove to the world. Because of his smaller stature, he has somewhat of a Napoleon Complex. Scourge is taken by fits of violence and anger and is more likely to attack an opponent with his claws than with his words. Scourge hates all of the clans and therefore spends much of his time plotting ways to undermine them and eventually bring about their destruction. Scourge is truly a friend of no one and a self-proclaimed enemy of almost everyone. He is a loner who begrudgingly allows people to join him and start up Bloodclan. Scourge has a deep distrust and hatred for the four clans and secretly is plotting to bring then to the ground and establish Bloodclan as the dominating force within the forest. While he seems to be helping Tigerstar and Thunderclan, he is actually waiting for the opportune time to strike a deadly blow to Tigerstar and cut the head off of one of the hated clans. Part of Scourge's complete rejection of the clans is that he refuses to believe in Starclan, alienating him even more from the other cats of the forest. Scourge is ruthless and fierce in the face of danger, but often loses himself in fits of anger that render him unable to distinguish between ally and foe. This weakness sometimes leads to him attacking other members of Bloodclan (and sometimes killing them) without realizing who his victim is. This contributes to the widespread fear of him and makes it hard for him to be able to truly trust anyone or gain their trust. Finally, Scourge was born as the runt of his litter and therefore is smaller than most of the other full grown cats in the forest. This makes him a (perceived) easy target to cats seeking to prove themselves in battle, but does not hinder him too much because he has reinforced his claws with the teeth of a dog. HISTORY I. Tiny, Ruby, and Socks are born as kittypets to Jake and Quince. Tiny is the smallest of the litter and is consequently bullied by his siblings. II. Tiny finds a hole in the fence and ventures into the woods. When he returns, his siblings don't believe him. III. Tiny's siblings are adopted. Frightened because he believes unwanted kittens are thrown in the river, he runs away into the forest. IV. Tiny wanders into ThunderClan territory and comes across a patrol of Bluefur, Thistleclaw, and Tigerpaw. Tigerpaw attacks and almost kills Tiny and is only stopped by Bluefur. V. Scared of the forest and with no place to call home, Tiny ends up in the Twolegplace. He wants to get rid of his kittypet collar and has an old dog try to take it off. The dog fails and one of his teeth gets caught in the collar. VI. When other rogues ask him about it, Tiny, in his desire to be accepted, tells them he killed the dog and the tooth is like a trophy. VII. Bone and Brick, after hearing about Tiny's success with killing dogs, approach him and ask for his help fighting a dog. Tiny accepts and manages to chase the dog off by scaring it with its own shadow. VIII. When the rogues ask his name, Tiny tells them that he is called Scourge. IX. Cats begin approaching Scourge with their problems and as he solves them, he gains a following. X. Tigerstar, eager to find more cronies to solidify his power, begins searching for allies. He finds his plans are better suited to cats who do not believe in the Warrior Code. He hears about Scourge and seeks him out. XI. Scourge recognizes Tigerstar as the cat who almost killed him years ago in the forest and agrees to an alliance to order to get close to him and plan the perfect revenge. XII. In an attempt to legitimize his group of rogues, Scourge begins calling the group BloodClan. RP SAMPLE The latest meeting between Scourge and Tigerstar, the leader of ThunderClan, had left Scourge deep in his brooding thoughts. ThunderClan was preparing to attack Shadowclan and they wanted Scourge and BloodClan to scope out the territory that the allies would soon invade. As Scourge stalked through the forest towards ShadowClan, he boiled in frustration at the realization that he was being used to do the work of one of the Clans that he hated so much. "Patience, I must remember to stay calm and keep an even head." thought Scourge as he smelled the familiar smell of the borders to ThunderClan. "Even if I am working for my enemy, it at least will help me to bring about its demise." As he crossed the border, Scourge didn't even recognize the smell of the Thunderpath nor did he realize that he was walking over its hard, dark surface. His thoughts consumed him so much, that by the time he heard the deep rumbling of the monster that was charging towards him, it was too late to move out of the way. Scourge, in his terror, fainted and lay in the road as the monster swerved at the last second and passed over his body and crashed into the trees. Immediately, the monster was defeated by the hard wood and Scourge woke up to see his vanquished enemy. Upon seeing the monster laying dead, bleeding black blood all over the Thunderpath and forest floor, Scourge believed that he had killed the monster and survived without even a scratch. "I...I killed it. It's really dead. Thus it will be with my enemies, I cannot be killed by even the monster of the forest, and I cannot be killed by the mightiest of my enemies!" As he said this, Scourge jumped onto the defeated monster as cats from both ThunderClan and ShadowClan emerged from their lands after hearing the enormous crash. Seeing the looks of disbelief on the faces of the other clans, Scourge seized the opportunity and shouted, "See what I have done! See the strength of Scourge and fear BloodClan."
