He clung on, even as the cat gave it's last throws of life. The pool of blood ran through his mouth and dripped down the white fur on his chest, staining it scarlet before hitting the filthy concrete of the Twoleg Place. The tom's eyes were widened in horror, glazing over as his very life oozed out him, mouth parted in a scream that gurgled in his torn throat. It was a slow painful death...but it tasted so good.
Snake threw the tattered carcass of the pale ginger aside while yet standing in the puddle of blood that had pulsed from the arteries he had managed to slit wide open. His lips were pulled from his blood-stained fangs in a deadly smile, tongue running over his maw and tasting the raw iron flavor of freshly spilled blood. Delicious.
The tabby tipped his head at the stiffening kittypet as if he were perplexed to why it was ceasing to move. It had been over so quick. Snake wished he had taken his time with him...but it was done and his had gotten his fix for blood, though killing a Clan cat would have been more thrilling than taking out a simple mush eater. Really, they never put up a good fight, always calling his bluff but never acting on what they say. Normally he wouldn't have ripped the throat out of a kittypet but this one was being particularly smart in his remarks and...well...he honestly should've known better.
"Looks like someone's Twoleg is going to be missing them." The brown tabby sneered at the deaf body of the limp cat, lifting his red-coated paw and beginning to casually clean off the life-force as his slitted yellow eyes remained fixated on the kittypet. Such a shame, such a shame...

A black cat stalked quietly, swiftly through the underbrush. "Where did that kittypet get off to? Running back to its Twoleg no doubt." Frustrated, Scourge sniffed the air again in hopes of finding the scent of the pale ginger kittypet he had found, unfortunately for the dumb thing, to far away from the safety of his Twoleg. Scourge had allowed the small cat to keep away from him because while he enjoys the hopelessness of the kill, he adores the terror of the chase that his victims know will only end in their death.
However, Scourge had somehow lost this ginger kittypet, a mistake that he would not allow to stand. "Come out come out wherever you are. Don't worry, Scourge will make it quick for you", he crooned in his best fake fatherly voice. Scourge had seen the terror in the eyes of the Kittypet as it realized it was being watched by the black cat with the teeth in its collar and he had laughed as it fled from him, tearing towards its twoleg's house.
That had been awhile ago however, and as Scourge let the kittypet think it was going to escape him, he had made a mistake (something that he seldom did and it would take a much braver cat than one any he had ever met to tell him he'd made one), he let the kittypet actually get away. However, he knew that it couldn't have gotten far, because the sent was still near...but it was mixed with something else...a larger cat, but there was something else there too, something stronger.
"I smell blood" Scourge said as he bounded towards where he knew the scent was taking him. Suddenly, he heard a shrill cry, the unmistakable sound of a kittypet meeting its violent, untimely and delicious end.
As he burst out of the underbrush and into a clearing, he came face to face with a large brown tabby whose eyes were fixed upon the limp and lifeless body of the pale ginger kittypet that Scourge had been stalking. As the tabby cat looked up, the blood of the kittypet dripped from his mouth as he flashed a satisfied smile at Scourge.

(ooc: Woooooo~ Awesome post, my friend! The blood-kitties shall unite! MWHAHAHAHAHA) The brown tabby was mildly surprised to find Scourge before him. Oh yes, he knew the cat very well, the one who wore the purple, tooth-studded collar. As painful as it was to say the black cat was his leader, the leader of Bloodclan. Snake really didn't like the idea of someone being above him - or being in a blasted clan either - but Scourge was one cat he could get along with and he made things more...bearable for the cat. They shared the same blood-lust, no doubt he would be either pleased or angered by the kill Snake had just made. "Is there something you need, Scourge?" he asked in an almost mocking, cool voice, keeping his yellow eyes trained on the black cat while he continued to casually clean the kittypet blood from his paws. He knew better than to disregard Scourge as just another cat. Despite his small size - which no doubt made the thin Snake look large -, this cat was ruthless and deadly. Snake had seen him in action and he didn't wish to be at the receiving end of his paws.

Scourge sensed a mocking tone in the voice of Snake, something he had become used to in his dealings with the other cats in the forest.
I see that respect for your leaders isn't something you have learned quite yet, Scourge snarled as he took a step closer to the other cat, however, luckily for you, your proficiency at killing is up to par. Even if it is only a meager Kittypet.
Scourge disliked the other cat, but he did not hate Snake, that was an emotion he saved for the Clan cats and their disgusting rituals. Snake was a feline that Scourge had a mutual respect for, one that put no cat before himself. There was a shared bloodlust between them that allowed for their encounters to begin and end with the same number of attached limbs, tails and ears.
I've been chasing that Kittypet for awhile, letting it think it was getting away from me so that I could taste its fear when I killed it. So tell me, did it die in terror, or did it realize that it was better off in your paws than mine?

Snake's yellow eyes flashed and the pupils narrowed to slits, anger flaring up and then dying out like a match-struck flame. He would never totally respect anyone, not even the leader of Bloodclan, and he wished to voice that so much. But he would likely get his tail cut off for such blatant disregard for Scourge's authority, and that would be getting off extremely easy.
"That was hardly a kill. These mush-eaters are worse than the clan cats when it comes to fighting." He mewed with annoyance, flicking the tip of his tail against the cold carcass of the kitty-pet while giving it a bored look. An exaggerated statement. of course. He had plenty of white scars to prove that the clan cats had some good fighting going on. Not that he'd admit that...
The tabby couldn't help but snicker, a sinister grin creeping up his face as he listened to Scourge. So...that was why the kitty-pet already wreaked of fear even before he got a hold of it. Every other cat who walked the alley-ways of the two-leg place knew who Scourge was and made sure to steer clear of him and his turf. Foolish kitty-pet, putting it's nose where it didn't belong.
"Death was after the poor thing, wasn't it?" Snake rumbled licking his lips with satisfaction, though it did little to help the blood that was splattered all over his chin and paws. His eyes turned hard and cold as he remember the kill moments ago. The glorious kill...
"Oh I'm sure it much preferred to die at my paws." He assured the black cat with what may be a purr, hiding behind his 'honest' words an offense to Scourge and a compliment to himself.
