[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign,top] 8 MOONS She-cat ThunderClan Apprentice | [atrb=style, width: 296px; padding: 5px; background-color: e3e3e3; border-top: 4px solid #000000;] GENERAL INFORMATION NAME, Tawnypaw BRIEF DESCRIPTION, "tortoiseshell she-cat with green eyes" FAMILY, Father: Tigerstar, Mother: Goldenflower, Brother: Bramblepaw APPEARANCE When you look at her brother, you just know who his father is. When you look at her, you have to think and mostly guess. The most that can be said is that she has her mother's slim frame. Her shoulders are well-rounded and slender, not nearly as bulky as her brother's and father's. It's a mystery to her where her green eyes come from, but her mother says she gets it from her grandfather on Tigerstar's side. Her pelt has a tortoiseshell pattern to it. The most that can be said is that she inherited both the ginger color from Goldenflower and the brown parts from her father, with a bit of random white thrown in there. PERSONALITY Proud, Fierce, Competitive Perhaps it's an unfortunate side-effect of having her father as Clan leader, but pride means everything to young Tawnypaw. She will do anything to make her Clan strong. If you dare speak a word against anyone in her family, whether it's about her brother or either parent, you'd best be prepared to have your ears clawed off. She's proud of being who she is. The only thing fiercer than her sharp claws are her sharp tongue. It's best to avoid her when she's in one of her 'moods'. Tawnypaw is just as lethal with her sharp wit and stinging sarcasm as she is in battle. She doesn't want special treatment because her father is Clan leader. If she feels like you're being soft on her, you can bet she won't return the favor. Her drive to be the best is mostly bolstered by her competitive nature. It mostly stems from looking nothing like either parent while Bramblepaw looks exactly like Tigerstar. Sometimes, Tawnypaw feels like she's overlooked because of the resemblance between father and son. "She doesn't look like them, so she must not be as good as them." She'll show them. She might not be as powerful as Bramblepaw, but strength isn't everything. HISTORY Goldenflower was already an apprentice when Tigerkit was born. She was made a warrior only a moon before he received his apprentice name. Being the only kit in the nursery at the time of his birth, Tigerkit was spoiled by his Clanmates. He became braver and bossier each day, but the birth of new kits kept him occupied until he became an apprentice. Thistleclaw mentored young Tigerpaw. Goldenflower was happy about the choice. Thistleclaw was a brave and strong warrior. She watched Tigerpaw grow and fell in love with him. She knew he didn't return her feelings, but that was okay. So long as she could have a part of his life, she was happy. And what's a bigger part of his life than the mother of his kits? Bramblekit and Tawnykit were born on a warm newleaf morning. Bramblekit was the oldest, and everyone could see at first glance who his father was. Tawnykit was an easier birth, though, because of her slim frame. Tigerclaw was already deputy when they were born and could only visit every once in a while. They saw more of the Clan leader, Bluestar, than they did their father. Bluestar became Tawnykit's idol. She wanted to be just like her when she grew up: kind and wise and noble. She became something like a second mother to the young kits. It was something Tawnykit appreciated. While Goldenflower treated both of her kits the same, it was clear Tigerclaw was more neutral about the kits than anything. They shared his blood, but he didn't seem to care about them more than any other Clan kit. Tawnykit strived to be just as good, if not better, than her brother. Would her father love her then? Bluestar said that Tigerclaw did love her, but had always shown his emotions differently than some cats. Tawnykit clung to those words, that belief, because it was the only thing keeping her from becoming bitter and angry. Then came the day that everyone dreaded. In a fight with RiverClan, an unknown warrior slew Bluestar. Tawnykit was numb with grief. She had to force herself to eat because her appetite had abandoned her. Nothing and no one could cheer her up, not even the fact that Tigerstar was leader now. Tawnykit got over it eventually, but in a way, she didn't. Before her hero's death, she'd been hoping to become like her. But being wise and noble hadn't saved Bluestar from her enemy's claws. Being kind and loving hadn't kept StarClan from claiming her. So Tawnykit, sweet and lovable Tawnykit, became something else. She turned fierce with her words and temper and prideful of her abilities. Apprentice Tawnypaw and Bramblepaw became apprentices just in time for leaf-bare to set in. For the first time, the she-cat was thankful for her lighter weight. It was easier to keep the snow from crunching under her paws when hunting. Not that she's been able to catch much anyway. In this time of fear and war, Tigerstar seems more attentive to fighting and battling than anything else. OTHER INFORMATION anything else missed in the application that you would like to mention? if not, leave this blank. RP SAMPLE StarClan's kits, it was cold! The frost crunched under her paws as Tawnypaw walked in circles, trying to keep herself warm. The sky was clear of clouds and the sun was shining down, but it didn't do anything for the Clans. The air was just too frigid and the wind was just too biting for the snow to melt. Thank StarClan she'd managed to convince her mentor to take her battle training instead of hunting. Maybe that'd help her warm up. That is, if her mentor ever got there. The tortoiseshell apprentice scowled at her shadow, which mimicked her tail lashing. Honestly, she thought she'd been late and had had a ton of excuses ready if her mentor was annoyed with her. But had he been there at the Sandy Hollow, like he'd said he was? No, no he wasn't. In fact, his scent was stale. He hadn't been there since the last training session they had. Which means that, unless he was hiding downwind of her, he wasn't anywhere near the traditional training place. Oh, she would give him such a tongue lashing when he finally got there. She'd make him rue the day he ever got her for an apprentice. Rue it, she says! ETCETERA OTHER CATS, |
